Tour Description
Did you know that hidden in the narrow and crowded streets for Florence, there are at least 30 private and public gardens? The tradition of garden design started during the Renaissance, heavily influenced by classical models from Roman villas, and laid the foundation for many of the gardens that exist today.

Experience the beauty of two of the most famous and exclusive Florence's gardens with our 3-hour Secret Gardens of Florence tour. Visit the historic Boboli Gardens, developed by the Medici and Lorraine dynasties from agricultural origins to the setting for spectacular marriage celebrations. Wander by the grand avenues, the classical and baroque statues, the mysterious grottos, like the recently restored Grotta Grande, the Limonaia, and the Kaffeehouse, and enjoy this quiet and lush green paradise.

Your journey continues with an exclusive visit to the Giardino Torrigiani, a private estate steeped in mystery and history. Planted by the founder of the Italian Botanical Society, this garden showcases an incredible variety of exotic trees and plants, and a nineteenth-century English landscape style. You will engage with one of the estate's owners over private refreshments, and hear firsthand stories about the garden's history, symbolism, and conservation efforts.

Led by our expert guide, you'll gain a profound understanding of Florence's horticultural and architectural heritage, and will get a deeply personal and educational experience.

Need to explain the steep walking paths before it is booked, in case the guest has any issues walking
Prompt, informative, friendly. She paced the tour to our fitness level (we’re not triathletes but in good shape). She made sure we had water and restroom breaks. Laura was awesome!
Valerie was a wonderful guide! The Boboli gardens are amazing and Valerie was just the right person to tell us about it's history. We throughly enjoyed the Giardino Torrigiani and meeting Tomaso. The special wine and bruchetti with Tomaso was a highlight of our entire stay in Florence!!
